KERBL Easy Heat Bucket and Churn Milk Heater

The KERBL Easy Heat Bucket and Churn Milk Heater  is a German engineered powerful, sturdy and easily cleaned milk heater . The KERBL Bucket Easy Heat and Churn Milk Heater features an adjustable thermostat, which will maintain a constant temperature while heating the milk and automatically cut off when the milk has reached the desired temperature, this ensures the heater will never burn the milk. The KERBL Easy Heat Bucket and Churn Milk Heater 23A  has been optimised for use in cylindrical containers with an average diameter of max. 22 cm and for volumes of liquid of up to 10 litres. In the event of any deviating conditions, a longer heat-up time may be required and there may be temperature deviations. The EasyHeat 23A  device cannot be used as a temperature measurement device. How to use the KERBL Easy Heat Bucket and Churn Milk Heater  Before connecting the plug to the socket, place the device in the liquid to be warmed. Note the maximum and minimum immersion depth of the device. This is marked on the immersion tube. Ensure that the bucket or the container with the liquid to be heated stands securely on level and stable ground, so as to prevent the device from falling over. Heating the liquid Turn the control dial to the desired setting. When heating approx. 10 litres of liquid in cylindrical containers with an average diameter of approx. 22 cm (e.g. Calf Feeding Bucket), the following temperatures are reached: Dial Number Temperature Reached 2 approx. 20 °C  4 approx. 40 °C  6 approx. 55 °C  8  approx. 65 °C  10 approx. 80 °C  To start the device connect the power cable to the socket and the device will begin to heat. The red check light indicates whether the heating element is actually heating. When the check light on the heating element heats; When the check light off the heating element does not heat. The heater switches off and the control light goes out upon reaching the target temperature. The heating duration depends upon several factors such as the initial temperature of the liquid, the set target temperature, the ambient temperature, the amount of liquid, and the shape and insulation of the container.  To bring larger amounts of liquid to a uniform temperature, the liquid must be circulated manually if necessary.  The red check light indicates whether the heating element is actually heating. If the FastHeat device continues to be left in the container, the liquid will be re-heated again when the temperature drops so as to ensure that the pre-set target temperature is maintained (heat retention mode).  Switching the device off To switch off the device, turn the control dial  to the “0” setting and then pull the connection cable out of the socket. Details of the KERBL Easy Heat Bucket and Churn Milk Heater The milk heater uses a very powerful 1700w heater and is ideal for heating small to medium amounts of milk or milk replacer. The round designed heating element and stand pipe are manufactured from high quality stainless steel, this makes the heater easy to clean and highly hygienic. The KERBL Easy Heat Bucket and Churn Milk Heater features a minimal heat up time and is powered from a three pin plug. The milk heater has a safety rating of IPx7. The Thermostat controls the temperature and is controlled by a easy to use labeled dial. KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater

The KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater  is a German engineered powerful, sturdy and easily cleaned milk heater . The KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater features an adjustable thermostat, which will maintain a constant temperature while heating the milk and automatically cut off when the milk has reached the desired temperature, this ensures the heater will never burn the milk. The KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater is designed for heating up milk and food prepared with water. For other purposes, especially for avoiding freezing of water, for instance in feeding troughs, the milk heater must not be used. How to use the KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater  Immerse the milk heating element into the liquid. Pay attention to the minimum depth that is marked by the little grove on the tube just above the heating element. The maximum depth is marked further up the tube and must not be exceeded. In any case the heating element must always be immersed in its entirety and the handle must never get in contact with the liquid. The container must be of heat-resistant material. Do not use plastic containers!  Plug the mains plug into the outlet that has been installed by a qualified electrician. It has to be equipped with a differential-current switch (FI) with a response current of 30mA. After having plugged in the milk heater the liquid must not be touched anymore. 7 3.2.3. Set the desired temperature with the thermostat. ( 0 ) corresponds to the minimum temperature ( ) corresponds to a temperature of approximately 40°C and ( ) to a temperature of about 80°C. While heating up the red control lamp lights up. Only use your milk heater under permanent supervision. Pay attention that the level of liquid does not drop below the minimum depth when heating up over a longer period of time. Under no circumstances cover the milk heater nor the container.  When the red control lamp goes out the desired temperature has been reached. Turn the thermostat to ‘minimum temperature’ and pull the plug out of the socket. Leave the milk heater for about another minute in the liquid before you remove it. The heating element remains hot even after the plug has been pulled out and should therefore not be touched and must not be placed on surfaces that burn easily (e.g. straw)! The calf‘s milk heater must be cleaned after every use. The heater can be cleaned using a soft sponge cloth (do not use scrubbing brushes, wire brushes, wire wool or other abrasive cleaning tools) and lukewarm, soapy water. The calf‘s milk heater should be placed in cold or warm water immediately after use. This makes the calf‘s milk heater easier to clean and protects the PTFE coating. To clean the handle and the stand pipe, use a soft, damp cloth that must be completely free of solvents (acetone, petrol, alcohol or similar). Details of the KERBL Bucket and Churn Milk Heater The milk heater uses a very powerful 2300w heater and is ideal for heating small to medium amounts of milk or milk replacer. • Oil Run Mobile / Portable Milking unit

Oil Run Mobile / Portable Milking unit

Hot dip galvanized frame Robust and durable construction “Handy”, stable and maneuverable design standard plug Self draining balance tank 30ltr stainless steel bucket with clear lid to aid inspection Non Return Valve fitted in lid, preventing milk entering vacuum pump There are many uses for the portable milking machine: Downer cows that are in an isolation box and cannot access the normal milking machine The house cow Goats or sheep being milked every day Taking your prize cow to win the cup at a show The Portable milker has its own vacuum system, pulsation, milk reception/storage and milking equipment, all on a frame that can be easily transported and used wherever the animal is situated.  The transport frames are mainly hot dipped galvanised or painted (other suppliers are plastic coated). The vacuum pump is driven by a motor connected to the local mains electric supply, electric provided by a portable generator (a preferred option if no electric) or belt driven from a petrol/diesel engine attached to the portable frame (these can be cumbersome). Each machine will have a gauge to display the vacuum level, a regulator to adjust the vacuum level and a pulsator. The pulsator is pneumatic and operates from the vacuum supply; it is important that the operator realises that the pulsation speed depends on the vacuum level. It is therefore important to set and regularly check the vacuum level and pulsation rate. Care must also be taken to minimise the amount of air that is admitted via the teat cups while the cluster is being applied to the animal, as it is easy for the operator to think the pulsator is not working properly until the vacuum has returned to the correct operating level. The machine provides a tube support for each cluster to minimise vacuum losses through slippage and promote correct cluster positioning. If the animal is normally milked in a milking parlour as much attention as possible should be paid to minimising any differences. If vacuum, pulsation and liners are similar enough to the parlour it will help to reduce further stress on the animal. While milking or washing it is vitally important that the bucket is not allowed to overfill, allowing liquid to enter the vacuum tank and if not careful then into the vacuum pump itself. As with all equipment routine maintenance is essential. With portable milker’s it is important to ensure that all liners, gaskets and tubing are maintained in good condition. The vacuum supply tube from the machine to the buckets and the inside of the vacuum tank itself will require regular inspection and cleaning using a tube brush where necessary. Occasional inspection by a qualified milking machine engineer is advisable to ensure optimum performance is obtained. Milking liners will need to be changed every 2500 milking’s or every 6 months whichever comes first. If washed, stored and maintained properly the portable milking machines are extremely reliable, surprisingly quiet and provide a very valuable piece of equipment to both large farms and home users.
